The DX006C High C Whistle by Tony Dixon

The Tony Dixon DX006 High C is a tuneable soprano tin whistle crafted by Tony Dixon in England, designed specifically for playing in the high C (C5) key. Built with a bright, responsive tone and reliable tuning capability, it’s ideal for traditional, folk, and session playing as well as practice and performance. The whistle combines a solid aluminium body with a plastic (ABS) mouthpiece and a tuning slide, giving a stable, projecting sound while remaining comfortable and easy to blow. The thicker aluminium tube also contributes to a fuller, louder tone compared to lighter-weight whistles. With its straightforward six-hole design and solid build quality, the DX006C appeals to intermediate players looking for a dependable, quality-sounding instrument.
