I can recognize tracks from the early 2000s that use these samples. They're great for getting that vibe and are also very much suited for modern stuff as well!

While there are rumors going around that these sounds were ripped off of actual songs, and its obvious that these samples have been pre-processed, it's really nice to have a great set of "out of the box" drums and FX to throw in to get an idea of how you want your track to sound. Almost all the producers I know use this pack (and the subsequent ones).

Can be quite useful but a lot of samples are quite naff.
