An historic product, maybe brought out into the open by Jordan Rudess in his early works with Liquid Tension Experiment first and Dream Theater later (from 1999). Rudess often used just the K2600 in his live performances until the 2005, when he replaced it with a KORG Oasys. The Kurzweil K2600 is listed on Jordan's gear page.

"The Continuum I started to play that around the Octoberian tour. It's kind of an alternative controller but a lot of you know it as the Kanawha wild lead like sound that I use with it. It basically will play any sound because it's a totally fretless kinda instrument. I love it, it's very different and actually displayed on the new Dream theater album I did a track using it so it's definitely something that I find very close to my musical soul," says Jordan Rudess, at 2:05.
