Total Native control over Traktor. Quick access to remix decks, stems, hot cues et cetera. I own two and I love them.
The TR8 is awesome and the sounds are great. Can be used in a DJ Set as well for some extra 'live' performances. Most of the built-in reverbs don't really sound great, two are good in my opinion. However, that's just a minor comment to this genius device.
I've been using Ableton since I started producing. Great DAW with lots of options.
The built-in instruments really amazed me, they sound great. I don't really like the keyboard shortcuts however and the interface can be a bit confusing. MIDI usage still needs a lot of developement and is not what I expected it to be.
I still prefer Ableton over Bitwig, but I love to use Bitwig on my other laptop while I'm traveling.
Works great with the Native controllers, but I'd love to use functions seen in Traktor like filter type select, re-MIDI mapping, external MIDI sync, waveform zoom etc.
Rugged and reliable interface. The LEDs are very clear. Too bad it doesn't work without a power adapter.
Great software for organizing tracks and preparing playlists.
Sometimes functions are bit confusing however.
Great audio, good feel and superb filters. After the Xone 92 the Xone 62 is the best mixer for techno/house in my opinion.
I've got two Eve Audio SC205 monitors; a great purchase. Since I own them the mix/master quality of my productions has increased exponentially. Probably one of the best monitors in a value for money comparison. In my opinion they sound way better than other populair 5" monitors (Adam, Monkey Banana..)
Good enough for my home setup, 4 inputs, 4 outputs. Sometimes disconnects Firewire when my Macbook reboots from sleep mode, but it's easy to reconnect.
Bizarre sounds can be shaped in Reaktor. I love Monark, it's probably the Reaktor plugin I use the most.
Cool plugin with interesting auto-automation options built-in.
Great reliable Macbook, I own the 2011 13" version. It's beginning to become a little slow but most applications still work great. An Solid State Drive update will probably do the job.
Best DJ and Timecode software on the market. I have been using Traktor since Traktor Scratch Duo 1. I love the fast timecode support, MIDI functions, mixer variation modes and of course the remix decks.
