A guitar made this well in this price range deserves a lot of praise.
A chunkier neck suits me well because I have bigger hands, although the shorter scale can be a bit tricky for larger fingers, so it takes some getting used to.
The pickups and bridge could be upgraded, but I haven’t changed anything yet. Still, a bit of modding would noticeably improve the overall quality of the guitar.
The tuners are very good, and the guitar stays in tune for a long time.
I don’t have much experience with lower tunings, since mine is set up in E standard. I use a drop pedal when I want to play in lower tunings.

DigiTech Drop Polyphonic Drop-tune Pitch-shift Pedal - Limited-edition Blackout
Harmonizer & Octave Effects Pedals
This pedal has become my favorite. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and I have to say it’s fantastic. It’s the second overdrive in my signal chain, placed after a budget Klon-style pedal.
The sound is exceptional, I mainly use it for crunchy tones and light distortion, and I love pairing it with delay to achieve an Italo-western vibe. The pedal is extremely versatile, the bass control and color knob are especially useful.
The clipping options are also very practical, allowing you to quickly shape and tighten the distortion a bit. I use it both as a boost and as a tone-shaping tool to control my Big Muff.
Overall, a brilliant pedal that sounds outstanding.
There is no noise or hiss, unlike some EQ pedals, even those in a higher price range. The build quality is solid, the look is not my favorite, but the footswitch works great, it’s soft and smooth, similar to the Digitech Drop switch.
The only downside is that when the pedal is engaged, it slightly reduces the overall volume, so the level needs to be boosted by about +3–4 dB to match the bypassed signal. Other than that, everything is great. It does exactly what an EQ pedal is supposed to do, and it does it very well.
