Murky Repeats

Loads of options and fun to be had with this delay pedal. I like to hold down the rubberneck footswitch to make it sound like my guitar has been blasted with a slow mo laser gun, or something along those lines. It also creates really cool, gritty repeats with the gain knob turned up.

Wahw

I mean.. it’s an auto wah.. that filters based on attack and playing.. that you can also work like a standard wah seamlessly.. insane. So much fun.

Phase Heaven

I use both 4-stage and 6-stage phasers and love having the capability to switch between the two. Not only does the PM7 have that switch, it also has a waveform switch and a couple extra knobs for even more wacky and wild sounds. The subtle phase sounds it creates are very pleasing, and the sci fi spaceship sounds it makes are super fun and actually usable.

Also the knobs pop in and out? Kick ass.

Not true bypass.

Dual Fuzz Face

Sounds fantastic. As advertised, it’s essentially a silicon fuzz face and a germanium fuzz face in one stompbox. Even more tweakable with the bias and input controls. You can almost get into fuzzrite territory with the bias control.

The one and only issue I've found with this pedal is that in some settings where the volume is cranked and the fuzz is past 3 o'clock it lets out a high pitched squeal. There is definitely a sweet spot right before that point though, so as long as you don’t accidentally turn the fuzz knob clockwise during a performance.. nothing to worry about.

Fuzzy Punch

Makes Fuzz. Fuzz good. Like a sweet fruit punch. A punchy fuzz. Yeah, a fuzzy punch.

Digital Monster

The bright mode isn't going to give you that classic drip sound (if that’s what you’re looking for) but it has its own very nice twinkly trails. It can easily get you a psychedelic, surf, spaghetti western-like feel.

The dark mode sounds fantastic. It opens up your guitar signal with a warmness I’m not sure I’ve heard before with a reverb pedal. Also, when cranked it basically becomes Godzilla.

The altitude knob is badass and all and could definitely allow you to free some space on your board by replacing an OD or preamp pedal, but I usually prefer it just slightly engaged in my setup. I typically run overdrives after reverb anyway to get dirty.

To simply put it, this pedal is a monster. Without a doubt.

Solid Board

Firstly, I love this board. Used it for a few years touring and playing shows and it shows no signs of giving out. The Temple Audio mounting system is super clean and holds extremely well. It is also easy to rearrange on the fly.

My one and only complaint is the pitch of this board. Initially there was not enough incline for me to comfortably engage pedals on the third row, so I got the idea to mount four adjustable steel legs on the front end to raise it up a bit. Problem solved :)

Twinkles

I have mine set to fairy dust mode. Just for a sprinkle-type thing I kick on at the end of trailing notes.

Jules

It’s a really great, brightly toned chorus/vibrato pedal. The blending capability is so amazing. Most chorus/vibrato pedals are either or. Julia lets you get everything in between. I just wish it had a tone knob to roll back to get some darker, warbly tones. For that I'll have to keep using my EHX Eddy. If I could somehow combine these two pedals...hmmm! 4.75!

Super Duper

The envelope feature seals the deal. I used to use a Pigtronix Tremvelope but always had trouble getting a noticeable speed/depth change based on pick attack or volume input. I really dig hitting the strings hard and having the tremolo effect speed start fast then slow down as the notes fade. The super pulsar does a really nice job at that. I admittedly don’t really use the other features and waveforms or patterns, but they’re cool too.

Tone Chef

Perfect for adjusting frequencies to help cut through the mix, and also good for creating unique tones. All in a classic Boss stompbox.

Whooooshhh

The older galvanized nano versions are the way to go. The new black powder coated nano versions have a slight volume boost (which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you need). Regardless, it has an impossibly hard to beat phase effect that is both sparkly and whooshy.

Power Full

Switched to CIOKS after using Voodoo Lab power supply for years. These are super slim, easy to mount, and push out plenty of power. Each output can either be set for 9v, 12v, or 18v which makes it much more versatile than most power supplies.

If you have multiple pedals that draw more than 100ma or have multiple pedals that require 12v or 18v power, these are the way to go.

As Advertised

Simple. Works as intended. LED is a good size and easy to read. Great to use as a kill switch. Takes up very little space and keeps me in tune.

It's Not Just a Phase, Mom

Crank the rate and feedback and you’ve now got a motorcycle engine sound effect at your disposal.

The Juice

My always on pedal. I keep the gain very low or sometimes dialed all the way back and it just adds so much flavor. I’ll never replace or part ways with it. I even sleep with it at times and tuck it in good night. After a bedtime story and goodnight kiss of course..

Classic Fuzz

My go-to fuzz pedal. Easy to dial in. Can sound super nasty but with your guitar volume you can dial it back and use it like a bright transparent overdrive. It doesn’t like any pedals ran before it (forgive me I don’t understand the technicalities as to why) but I always run it first in my chain. Try running it into a Blues Driver ;)

The Perfect Amp

Perfect for studio use with it having the attenuator and a DI that allows you to mimic a mic'd up Twin Reverb.

Perfect for gigging with it being so crazily light weight.

The tones are so close to a real tube amp that it’s not really discernible at all.

The tremolo and reverb effects sound killer.

I have nothing negative to say about this amp. It’s been great to me over the years.

Crisp and Clean Vocals

Substantially clearer than the standard 58. Pushes the vocals through the mix extremely well. I use mine for every show we play. Love it.

Killer Tones

For the price, it’s most definitely a 5-star guitar. The mini humbuckers with this tremolo system create a certain type of magic. The only recommendaysh I would say is to swap out the Epiphone mini humbuckers with Gibson (or better quality) ones. Playing in a loud, live setting the stock pickups can sometimes create a high pitched ringing sound? Hard to explain as it’s very slight, but noticeable enough to me. Regardless you can get very smooth and very gritty tones that work well with many styles of playing.
