Looks lovely, near perfect finishing 94pts, made in Korea.
Sounds as good as it looks, thinner body makes it more comfy for someone like me who is used to an Ibanez RG.
First hollowbody and loving it, or am I just getting old? :)
Others came and go, this one stayed.
Modded and played it for more than 10 years.
Almost nothing is stock, EMGs 85x and 66 works for me.
Push the Vol knob back at 8 and it sings.
extra controls from the standard, means more control for a more tailored tone shaping experience.
So lovely, the tone and the consistency, amp on a board.
And stereo too!
Love the modulation speed to volume input chain, Groovy Baby!
Wished that they made it without buffer as it changes my tone.
ALL HAIL THE DARK LORD...
Nah, just classic, old school Swedish Chainsaw in a box.
Set to 11 and forget.
Bought it in raw finish, looks as good as it sounds.
Tuned the bass response to suit my room and the table reflections too.
Resulting in a cornucopia of excellence.
So much power!
Mine is the RS2e to be honest.
Love it, after modding it to replaceable cables.
A whole new world!
It is value but not a replacement for a decent mixer.
Routing options are not ideal at this price point but a good place to start.
It is what I needed, flatter than the M80 and handles EQ better.
Super tight super cardiod pattern means that it will not pick up keyboard kacks, even when using Cherry MX Blues.
roll back on the vol knob to about 8 and it will sing, purr or shred, depending on your genre.
Surprisingly versatile, it is not just for metal. Put the tone down and the Blues start seeping through.
Chose the 66 to pair with the 85X.
In an RG, it is truly versatile and can cover almost all genres, except for the twang as it has none of that!
Leave that for the teles and their single coils.
Plug in and smile!
Blacktop is said to be not as eloquent as the standard versions, also slightly hotter.
In a Gretsch 5410T, it really sings and is delicate yet commanding in a solo.
I am wanting to try the TV jones version now, apparently mine is subpar when compared to TV jones Classic and Plus for the bridge. Yet to try them but hell, the blacktop is already dripping!
High accuracy and I use it even for my violin!
It makes me want to get the pedal version!
TC Electronic really knocked it right out of the park with this one.
It is decent but dries out too fast.
I use it mainly for its applicator; to apply my AxWax from Dr Duck.
