Description
The Electro-Harmonix Sovtek Deluxe Big Muff Pi is a fine-tuned blend of the Green Russian Big Muff’s earth-shaking low tones, clear highs, and full-bodied mids, with the sophisticated controls of the Deluxe Big Muff. This integrated pedal, tailored for the modern musician, seamlessly fuses the classic with the contemporary.
Maintaining the Green Russian’s Sustain, Tone, and Volume knobs, the Sovtek Deluxe Big Muff Pi adds a wealth of extras from its Deluxe counterpart for those who require the depth of its sound-shaping capabilities. The MIDS EQ is a standout feature, delivering a parametric MIDS EQ section with a selectable center frequency, a level control that can boost or cut up to 10dB, and a high/low Q switch that sets the resonance/bandwidth of the EQ.
Key Features:
- MIDS EQ with selectable center frequency ranging from 310Hz to 5.0kHz
- Dedicated on/off footswitch with status LED for the MIDS EQ circuit
- Noise gate to remove unwanted hiss and hum
- Blend control for the dry and distorted signals
- Wicker switch to adjust high frequency bandwidth
- Expression pedal input for creating wah wah and cocked wah effects
- True bypass to maintain signal path integrity in bypass mode
- Internal input buffer switch to engage a buffer on the Big Muff’s input circuit
- MIDS EQ trim pots for adjusting High Q bandwidth, High Q output volume, and overall MIDS EQ output volume.
