This little gem is very reasonably priced. It's the only electric guitar I've ever owned, and I love it. It's great if you want that signature strat sound at an affordable price. There's quite a variety of tone when using the 5-way pickup switch. The bridge pickup is great for a crunchy rock tone, and the neck and middle positions are good for soothing and clean sounds.

This was the first real guitar I ever owned, and I was so excited when I got it. But now that I've experienced playing many more guitars, my liking to this one has decreased. The round back I really don't like, it gets in the way when putting it into a case, or playing it standing up. The plastic top is also a bit of a drawback, as it doesn't have that nice, natural look to it that most acoustics do. It's a good guitar for beginners, but Ovation can do better

Man, this is such a beautiful bass! Mine is a 1996 Fireglo model and I could just stare at it forever. The neck is amazing, super smooth, perfect radius (for me), and the tuners are super-sensitive (not always a good thing, I actually broke I string because of it, but usually it's pretty useful). The tonal variations between the two pickups isn't too noticeable, but still adds a nice subtle timbre difference to fit to whatever style you're trying to play. The pickup cover is pretty stupid, I removed it almost immediately. Just gets in the way, although when you take it off, there are a couple of sharp parts exposed that one should be wary of when playing, especially without a pick. The bridge is my main problem. I say this because it has these built-in mutes, which seems great, but you have to lower your strings to the point where there is excessive fret buzz, rendering them a bit useless. Whenever I want to mute the strings, I either have to have fret buzz or only half-mute them. I would definitely recommend putting on some roundwounds and letting this thing just rip. It sounds so amazing! But, the high gain pickups often cause a lot of noise with the gain knob anywhere above 1.

I bought this bass with pretty low expectations, and found myself amazed. Especially paired with new strings, this bass can roar just like a high-end Fender if you mess with the EQ enough. And with the added single coil at the bridge, a whole new variety of tones is available. Only reason I rate it with four instead of five is that the pickups' DI sounds pretty horrible. Very low-midrange-y, kind of gives you a headache. You have to EQ the hell out of it before it sounds decent. The pickups have cut out a couple of times, and I've had to have the machine heads replaced because they all weren't turnable after a while. But, after replacing (a very easy fix), it works like a dream. The knbos have also fallen off, but that is also a pretty easy fix. Other than that, a fantastic bass, especially for a Squier.

The Fender Jazz Bass is such an amazing bass. It sounds so great through any amp, and is very versatile when it comes to pedals. A menagerie of tones are achievable when messing with EQ settings, as well.

I REALLY wish I could have a Russian big muff, but alas, they've been discontinued. This is a great substitute, though. I bought this pedal because I love Muse, and this gave me a really BHR-like tone paired with my jazz bass.

This pedal is, well, a distortion pedal, and the only real reason I bought it was to hear the difference between overdrive and distortion (my amp has built-in overdrive). It's a good pedal, but it adds a lot of midrange, which is not what I look for in a distorted song (I love midrange, don't get me wrong). There's also this "voice" switch that doesn't really do anything, as far as I can tell

This amp is, well, an amp. It's kind of weird how there are different settings for different instruments, because none of them sound all that good. The only thing I use this amp for is the bluetooth. If I ever want to jam along to a song, I use this. It also has some pretty good inbuilt effects. If I'm not mistaken, there's delay, reverb, phaser, flanger, compressor, and tremolo all in one amp. That's pretty cool

This is my first and only bass amp, but from experience with some other amps, this one isn't that great. If you play too hard, the amp clips, and no, it's not my pickups. The built in overdrive isn't exactly overdrive, but it sounds kinda cool anyways. The tonal options aren't to vast either. But, I mean, it's an amp, and it amplifies, so it's good enough for me.

I may not have much experience playing acousitc guitars, but man does this one resonate! You strum an open chord, it'll sustain for days. Great playability, overall nice rounded look. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the bridge; just a personal preference, I much prefer threaded bridges ove peg bridges. It's just such a hastle
