The Casio LK-100 Review

midikeyboardreviews.com

The Casio LK-100 is an enticing option for beginners with its 3-step lesson program and light-up keys, making learning accessible and enjoyable. It offers a variety of features like 100 tones, 50 rhythms, and a song bank with popular tunes, appealing to both novices and more experienced players. However, its lack of weighted keys and reliance on a PC for MIDI functionality may limit its appeal to advanced users. Overall, it's a solid, budget-friendly choice for those starting their musical journey, especially at its competitive price point on Amazon.

Used for practice

The sounds aren't the best (as expected), but it's pretty good for playing out ideas in my head and practicing piano. I'd use it as a MIDI controller...if I actually had a MIDI interface :P Probably gonna trade it into Guitar Center along with my LPD8

pretty good keyboard

No velocity settings, but it works as a midi keyboard

mattwavemusic

It's ok

I mean, it's kinda old. The keys aren't weighted, and no pitch bend or modulation for vibrato, no arpeggiator.
