Albert King's Gear
Albert King is mostly known for the 1959 Gibson Flying V he played which is also featured in the Equipboard Albert King profile picture.
"At that point King was living up to his already well-established legend with the help of an MXR Phase 90 phase shifter pedal (hey, it was the ’70s!) and either a Roland JC-120 or an Acoustic 270 head with an Acoustic 2x12 cabinet," reads this article.

This guitar was also famous as being played by Albert King. It was built by John Bolin. "Albert King" is also written on the fretboard. In the video (e.g. 0:39) you can see him playing this instrument.
Albert King is mentioned in a Gibson article as having used a Roland JC-120 during the 1970s. The article notes his setup included an MXR Phase 90 phase shifter pedal and either a Roland JC-120 combo or an Acoustic 270 head with a 2x12 cabinet.
This all mahagony 1968 Gibson Flying V in cherry was also used by Albert King for live work. It's been recalled in this article also.

Dos de las pocas fotos que hay en las que Albert King no lleva su Flying V. En este caso, con una Epiphone Riviera.
According to an article by Vintage Guitar® magazine, written by Wolf Marshall, Albert King’s first Gibson Flying V was a 1959 Korina model. This guitar was stolen and replaced by a custom build from Dan Erlewine before it was eventually recovered, being the first of many V style guitars he would dub Lucy.
Albert King used the THC Lucy Albert King Flying V, a custom-made electric guitar commissioned by Billy Gibbons as a gift for King's 65th birthday in 1988. It became his primary instrument until his death in 1992. This unique guitar, crafted by Tom Holmes, features an arched top, left-handed configuration, and a 24 3/4" scale length. This information is supported by a listing on invaluable.com titled "Albert King | Stage-Played and Photo-Matched 'Lucy' THC Custom Flying V Electric Guitar."
