B.B. King

BB King auctioned this guitar off and Eric Clapton purchased this guitar at a charity auction. Eric Clapton acquired it then for collecting rather than playing purposes.

BB King gave this guitar to Eric Clapton's 2004 Crossroads auction.

An autographed B.B. King 'Lucille' model Gibson guitar, used by him during the recording of the album 'B. B. King & Friends: 80', FOOTNOTES The album was a celebration of B.B. King's 80th birthday and comprised a series of duets with the signatories on the guitar. According to information supplied, the signatures were obtained in various recording studios during the sessions: Clapton, Daltrey, Knopfler and Van Morrison in Olympic Studios, London, the remainder in New York and Los Angeles. B.B.King used this guitar for the session with Mark Knopfler.

In the early days of BB Kings career and long before he got his official Gibson signature guitars he played Gibson ES-355 a lot.

I wonder if it was just a promo shot, but in the picture you can see B.B. king holding/playing/whatever a Gibson Little Lucille. Maybe he used it more than just in this image.

In this video you can see B.B. King playing trough a fender super reverb.

This amp was often used by BB King until he gave it to Eric Clapton's 2011 Crossroads auction. BB King used it also while playing at the 2007 & 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival which Eric Clapton helds for Crossroads.

This 1968 Fender Twin Reverb combo amp was really important to get the typical BB King sound. In the source you can see BB King using a similar '65 Fender Twin Reverb while jamming alongside Eric Clapton who was using the same amp at the time.

B.B. King uses a Rode NT1-A Condenser Microphone as announced.

In the video you can see B.B. King using a red heavy plectrum. In 0:51 he said that it is a hard one.
