Andrew Osenga's Gear
Osenga's gear also consists of two Audio-Technica AT4047 microphones.
"I'm still putting the 4-Speed through its paces. I may swap it out with a Sparkle Drive and put this on my flight board. Tim, who builds them, tells me it's really built for fly dates, as it has four modes, each sort of designed for a different type of amp. Sounds like a good plan." - Osenga about Sparkle Drive pedal.
"Besides these two I've got that Sparkle Drive, which is great, and a Visual Sound Route 66, which is a great basic Tube Screamer copy. I had them mod it to be a little cleaner, so I acutally prefer it over the real Tube Screamer myself. " - Osenga about Visual Sound Route 66.
This pedal is visible in a couple of shots of his pedalboard, but he does not mention this particular pedal during the rundown.
"Oh, and that little gray box at the top of the mod board is an OLD Boss Noise Gate. I put it before the delays, so it doesn't chop anything off, but as soon as the guitar stops making noise, there is no sound at all, besides what trails with effects." - Osenga about Boss NF-1.
In this Instagram photo, Osenga's Gibson SG Melody Maker is visible.
"The first time a venue provided me with a Radial JDI I noticed an immediate difference, in clarity, presence and fullness. I went and bought my own the next day. I often get comments about how good my acoustic guitar sounds live and I know the JDI is a huge part of that. I can't imagine playing without it." - Osenga about Radial JDI.
Under his gear list, Avid Pro Tools 9 is listed as one piece of his gear.

He also uses those monitors in his rig, according to his blog website.
"After that it goes to the Whammy-Wah, which does, well, whammy and wah stuff. I'm not a big guy for either, so this does the trick for my needs." - Osenga about his Whammy-Wah pedal.
"This is what I changed mainly a couple weeks ago. I used to use a BadCat 2-Tone, and I liked it, but I more and more realized I didn't love it. And it was huge. It took up too much room to have if I didn't LOVE it, so I sold it. I replaced it with a FullTone Full Drive 2, which I do LOVE, and a PedalDoctor 4-Speed Overdrive." - Oseng about his Fulldrive 2 pedal.

"A few years ago I really went through a huge delay phase, and I tried most of the delay pedals out there and found a few that I really love and now feel that I know pretty well. The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man being the best." - Osenga about EHX Deluxe Memory Man.
"Anyway, this is the current overdrive and compression situation. Oh, the compressor is an AnalogMan BiComp, which has a Ross clone (think more expressive DynaComp) in one side and an Orange Squeezer on the other. Getting better as a guitar player has allowed me to rely less on these for overall settings and begin to use them more as effects. I like it like that. This is my favorite compressor I've ever played (and I think I've played them all...). But anyway, anybody have any good overdrives I haven't heard of or tried?" - Osenga about his Analogman Bi-Comp pedal.
"What you see here is what you get, basically, the Memory Man is the main thing I use, but the Line 6 delay is good for straight delays and auto-volume swells. It doesn't sound fantastic, but it does what it does constistently, has a couple weird sounds and has a handy tap tempo." - Osenga about Line 6 DL4.
"My flight board has the Boss DD-20 and I think that sounds way better, but it doesn't have the auto-volume. That's what keeps the Line6 around." - Osenga about Boss DD-20.
"The Blue Line6 has nice tremolo sounds and a great Leslie simulator. I have it set for two tremolos (fast and slow), the Leslie and a Boss Pitch Vibrato sound that Jon Brion uses all over the "Eternal Sunshine" soundtrack. Love that sound." - Osenga about Line 6 MM4.
In his blog post titled "As if a veil has been lifted," Andrew Osenga mentions plans to rehouse his DigiTech XP-99 Space Station pedal into a smaller enclosure, indicating his use of this multi-effects pedal.
"At the H2O, though, the signal splits and does a sort of wet/dry stereo thing, utilizint the stereo ins and outs of both Line6 units, for dual amp stuff. Useless live, but occasionally fun on records." - Osenga about H2O pedal.
" My old Electro-Harmonix Micro-Synth, which is one of the weirdest, most bizarre (and most loved) pedals I've ever owned, will then leave the basement and go where the Space Station is right now." - Osenga about the MicroSynth pedal.
