"I used a TS-9 with a Keeley mod and that was actually Brandon's who produced the album – he brought a whole suitcase of pedals for us to play with. I had a Fulldrive 2 before that and wasn't totally happy with it…" In-depth guitar talk with the instrumentalist by Rob Laing, August 11, 2010more
> The second is an acoustic board designed for Colin Hay of Men at Work. Colin wanted a very versatile system that was state of the art. It allows him to blend his dry acoustic sound with stereo effects. > A custom box was built by Martin to allow a DI feed and stereo XLR through the pedals to the house as well as a mono amp send. The box also allows a master mute of all outs to the tuner and a mute of the XLR's and amp send individually. The XLR's are ISO'd with two Jensen Transformers. > The signal chain is as follows: Custom switching box---Demeter Tube DI---EBS Comp----Durham Sexdrive----Fulldrive II----Boss Loop Station---TC Modulator----TC Nova Delay---Swith box. > The Demeter tube DI is an incredibly natural sounding piece. The TC pedals blended in stereo are amazingly spacious.more
"my (cams) rig is a fender musicman 65 through an avatar 212, I play a squier cyclone and my typical pedal chain is: tuner —-> fulldrive 2 (JHS mod) —-> Boss DD-20——> T.C. Electronic Hall of Fame just picked up a Dirty Little Secret MK1 and a Smart People Factory Ego Booster that may replace the fulldrive but we’ll see!!"more
"This is what I changed mainly a couple weeks ago. I used to use a BadCat 2-Tone, and I liked it, but I more and more realized I didn't love it. And it was huge. It took up too much room to have if I didn't LOVE it, so I sold it. I replaced it with a FullTone Full Drive 2, which I do LOVE, and a PedalDoctor 4-Speed Overdrive." - Oseng about his Fulldrive 2 pedal.more
For guitarist, Nershi mainly uses a Collings I-35, a Santa Cruz D-Nershi Signature Model, a ’70s Martin D-28 ("FrankenMartin"), a 1955 Martin D-18, and a Ton Nershi T-Style Guitar. When it comes to amps, Nershi goes with his tried-and-true Fender formula involves a Blues Deluxe and a Blues DeVille. The handful of stomps that he relies on includes: Fulltone OCD, Fulltone Fat-Boost, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner, Fulltone Full-Drive 2, Pro Co RAT, Maxon Rotary Phaser, Dunlop Crybaby Wah, Line 6 Echo Park, TC Electronic G-Force. And for strings, picks, and accessories, he currently jams D'Addario EX115 (.010-.049), Rocktron MIDI Mate, Whirlwind Selector A/B, Sunrise acoustic pickup, K&K Pure Classic acoustic pickup, and Avalon U5.more

The Pre-Mosfet version of the Fulldrive pedal, in my opinion this is the Thickest/Fattest/Smoothest of all version, its the tone that made the FD2 famous. My favorite OD and probably the oldest one on my pedalboard.
I love this pedal. Very warm overdrive, and the boost section acts more like a 2nd stage vs a clean boost. Because of that, I can use this pedal to get me through any gig with multiple gain stages. I've had both the MOSFET version and the pre-MOSFET, and I'm leaning toward this pedal as my favorite.
I am going to straight up admit I stole this pedal form someone I knw who had ripped off all my AKG mic stands when he changed rehearsal spaces and pretended theyw ere his. He left a small box of stuff so I looted what I thought was fair payment from it including his fulldrive II. Exellent Tubescreamer with lots of extra features. It can do TS9, SD1 and then its own open and flatter sounding verison of the TS9... the boost is also nice. I never use this pedal because of the ridiculous number of TS and SD type pedals I have floating around that will cover these basic sounds... for what these buggers cost I would recommend everyone decide on TS or SD and then get either the Green Rhino MKII or the MXR custom badass OD. But there wasa time when this pedalw as the only thing that really did this flavor of modified tubescreamer and it deserves some credit even though Fuller is a jerk.
