Brian Fallon's Other Gear
Brian carries three Fender Custom Shop Relic Telecasters on the road. One features Custom Shop Nocaster pickups; the other two each sport a set of Lollar ’52 T pickups. All three Teles feature a 4-way switching system for more tonal options, and Brad Clifford strings them with SIT Power Wound Nickel sets, gauged .010-046.
From one of his instagram posts: "People ask me all the time about the various pickups I use in my guitars... Here's the ones I use in everything... @Bareknucklepickups "the mule" - made in the UK, great for the classic 60's British tones - like Free, Bowie, early Clapton and early Stones.
"People ask me all the time about the various pickups I use in my guitars... Here's the ones I use in everything. From top Left going clockwise: @lollarpickups imperial. - my first love. Best guys and gals and TOP quality pickups."
"People ask me all the time about the various pickups I use in my guitars... Here's the ones I use in everything... the @lutherlee vintage 50s P90 for more of a smooth Social D type tone, which cleans up amazingly. Think "Story of my Life" tone."
"Also - this little gem is a @martinguitar D-41, I was inspired by Neil Young to try one and convinced when I heard @jasonisbell likes them. Anyway, it rules. They rule. And I use a @fishmanmusic Infinity Matrix pickups system with a @lrbaggsofficial floor preamp. Ok - end nerd rant. Love to everybody."

Pearly Gates pickups were installed in Fallon's modified ES-345, as featured in this January 30, 2013 post on Fallon's Tumblr blog.
Someone asked me about my guitar rig recently, so here it is… Now, this changes ALL the time, so it’s different from tour to tour, sometimes from show to show. I like to try new stuff and keep revolving things in and out.
There’s a few things missing… for shows we use a Fender Eric Clapton Twinolux set to half power with this 1956 Fender Deluxe shown here.
Sometimes the Deluxe gets replaced with a Penn Amp Tremlux built by Billy Penn at 300 Guitars.
They’re both on all the time and they run just on the clean side of dirty.
For pedals, I usually use that Lovepedal Eternity there, or for any leads I use the Fulltone Soulbender. The Pedal looking thing is a Fulltone Deja Vibe, which I got from listening to way too much Tom Petty. It’s awesome, and it’s always set to Chorus.
The main guitar I use is a Gibson ES -345 that Nash Guitars converted into a 335 and painted Pelham Blue. (thanks Brendan O’ Brien) it has Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups in it.
So that’s what I’m using most of the time, subject to change at any moment…
