Dan Andriano

In 2003, Flav Giorgini teamed up with Matt Skiba and Dan Andriano from Alkaline Trio to develop two guitars- The Matt Skiba GPC, and the Dan Andriano GPC bass. 100 Skibas were made, and 25 Andriano basses were made. They were not available in retail stores- but, they were available in '03 via an online order through guitarpunk

Dan was seen using a custom Fender P-Bass at Riot Fest 2014 in Toronto.

Dan Andriano is seen using an Ampeg SVT-VR bass amplifier head alongside an Orange amplifier in the user-uploaded photo from Orangeamps.

In the music video for Alkaline Trio's "I Wanna Be A Warhol", Andriano plays a black Fender Telecaster Bass with an all maple neck and white pickguard.

Me and my new @fender American Original 70’s Jazz Bass... holy shize, this thing is beautiful, and so comfy! Kinda got a fat neck for a J, and a little flatter fretboard than back in the day. Ash body so it’s LIGHT (for a JBass) as well. I gotta hand it to Fender, they keep on innovating, and improving things that are already amazing while staying classic, classy and super badass. Thanks @mschulz83 and everyone at Fender!

"Live, I play though an Orange rig, but the amp I like to record with is a 1971 Marshall Major head. It’s the best sounding amp I’ve ever played through. I don’t know why more people didn’t get into them. It’s a 200-watt head, so maybe it’s that guitar players can’t get them to break up very easily. But with bass it sounds perfect. It gets pretty gnarly, but it stays smooth. It’s almost like naturally compressed sound."

Just made some upgrades to an already amazing guitar! I love this @fender Amer. Pro Tele Deluxe... But I also love fiddlin’ with stuff! Put a @seymourduncanpickups ‘Sat. Night Special’ in the bridge, sounds sooo good! Swapped out for Callaham brass Tele saddles, killer tort guard. Yup... that’ll do just fine!

So psyched on these Super Cosmic custom monitors from @jhaudio !!! I went and toured the lab in Orlando! Such awesome people and made entirely right there in Florida, USA! Thanks so much for the hospitality!
