Brynjar Leifsson

In this video we can see Brynjar Leifsson using and abusing a Fender Jaguar. The guitar can first be seen right at the very beginning in the far left side of the screen. Brynjar says about this guitar in this Music Radar article "The Jaguar is what I used to record the whole album. It has a beautiful kind of punchy, clangy sound that I love. It sounds classic, and I guess it is."

Brynjar Leifsson, the lead electric guitarist of the massively popular band Of Monsters and Men has been noted to be a frequent user of a white Duesenberg Starplayer TV, along with the Fender Jaguar.

"I use a Duesenberg Starplayer TV and a Fender Jaguar. They're both great in their own ways. Last January, we were getting ready to go into the studio to record some songs for the worldwide release of the album. Before that, I walked into this guitar shop and saw the Duesenberg. I'd never seen a guitar like it in my life. I bought it without any clue what I was getting, but I was really surprised. It's sturdy, and it sounds good. Already, I can tell it's going to be very reliable."

In this video hosted by the Sjónvarp Víkurfrétta YouTube Channel, Brynjar Leifsson and Nanna Bryndís of the band Of Monsters and Men cover the song "Kids" by MGMT. Brynjar uses a Gibson Les Paul Standard in this video.

In the YouTube video titled "Of Monsters and Men Unplugged - Special Secret Acoustic Show @ Fríkirkjan (Iceland Airwaves 2016)," Brynjar Leifsson plays a Fender Starcaster.

At 52:19, you can see Brynjar using the Duesenberg Paloma in a red sparkle colour. Through that concert, you can also see Ragnar using the same guitar but a left handed model in the same colour as well.

In this photo, Leifsson shared some of his recording gear. Near his well-known Fender Jaguar, there is also vintage stock Gibson ES-125.

In this Instagram post, he welcomes another guitar to his guitar family. He confirmed in the comments that this is the 1966 model.
