Duesenberg Starplayer TV Review

shais-music.wixsite.com

The Duesenberg Starplayer TV is a standout semi-hollow electric guitar with a unique tonal palette, featuring a P.A.F style humbucker and a versatile P90. Its bright sound is ideal for classic rock and blues, but less suited for metal. The guitar boasts exceptional build quality and attention to detail, from its smooth knobs to a superior tremolo system. While it carries a premium price tag, it offers remarkable value compared to American counterparts. The slim U-shaped neck may not suit everyone, but it's a top contender for those seeking a distinctive and versatile instrument.

Duesenberg Starplayer TV Review | Guitar Jar

guitarjar.co.uk

The Duesenberg Starplayer TV Electric Guitar receives high praise for its stunning aesthetics, versatile sound, and exceptional build quality. It's described as a "fine instrument" that excels in clean to mild overdrive tones, making it perfect for blues and rock, though less suited for hard rock/metal. The unique vocal-like quality of the P90 pickup and the clarity of the vintage humbucker are standout features. The guitar's semi-hollow body adds a vibrant acoustic presence. While its price may be steep, the reviewer feels it's worth every penny, with the guitar inspiring creativity and becoming a staple for performances and recordings.

Best guitar that I ever got (and probably the last i will ever buy)

This guitar makes other brands look miserable and poor. The attention to detail, the craftsmanship, the choice of woods and the quality of the setup, makes this guitar easily THE best guitar I ever bought, and it will probably stay with me for as long as I'll live.

This guitar cames with a strange choice of string gauges: 0.50-0.10, and can make some unexperienced player shy away. Duesenberg also sells a custom 0.50-0,09 with lighter gauge strings.

The Tremolo is addictive. Pickups are low output.
