Calle Thomer of Vildhjarta has been using the DigiTech Whammy DT since the release of the "Thousands of Evils" EP. Initially employed to facilitate guitar tuning, it has since become an essential songwriting tool for the band. Calle Thomer used the Ibanez RGIB6 Baritone Electric Guitar for live performances with Humanity's Last Breath. He modified the guitar to be microtonal by sending it to a luthier, as seen on his Instagram post.

Calle Thomer primarily uses a Gibson Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar, albeit a fake copy, for his solo project Stoort Neer. In an Instagram post, Calle describes this guitar as his "working horse," noting its imperfections, such as a broken pickup and faulty electronics, which contribute to its massive sound. Despite these issues, he recorded an album with it, appreciating the unique character it adds to his music.

Calle Thomer uses the Line 6 POD Farm 2.5 plugin to streamline vildhjarta's live rig. In the "vildhjarta - soundcheck 2022" video by RacerFran19, the band demonstrates their updated setup, which includes transitioning to the VST version of their pedalboard platform on Reaper to accommodate tuning changes with their Whammy DT via MIDI program changes.

Calle responded to a question from a fan, who asked him what pick he used, and he says he uses the Dunlop brand .73 triangular pick.

Calle Thomer is confirmed to use the Hapas Guitars Judge 627, as evidenced by a November 15, 2024, Instagram post by Hapas Guitars. The post announces Calle as a new artist, stating he will use the Judge 627 for writing and recording the new Vildhjarta record.
