In an interview, when asked about monitoring, Chase & Status reply:

"To save your ears it’s best to monitor quietly but we feel we need more of a vibe so we probably have it too loud. We think for the majority of a session the speakers would be at a middle point between loud and quiet, so that it’s not hurting the ears but still creating a vibe. We love big phat monitors and we have Mackie 824s for a flat sound and Genelec 1039As for the club vibe."

The "Mackie 824s" they are referring to are the Mackie HR824 Studio Monitors. Original interview can be found here.
