In this interview, when asked about monitoring, Chase & Status reply:
"To save your ears it’s best to monitor quietly but we feel we need more of a vibe so we probably have it too loud. We think for the majority of a session the speakers would be at a middle point between loud and quiet, so that it’s not hurting the ears but still creating a vibe. We love big phat monitors and we have Mackie 824s for a flat sound and Genelec 1039As for the club vibe."
At 5:51 into their Interview with SB-TV, Chase & Status comments "We are currently getting into ProTools. We just recently got a ProTools rig..".
