In this video, Dataline demonstrates using the Elektron Analog Drive while live resampling with the Elektron Octatrack MKII.
In this video the output of the Octatrack is going through the Analog Heat, as described in the tutorial video that accompanies the performance. He uses the Saturation circuit with some low EQ boost, and also uses the bandpass filter (e.g. from 2:32 to 2:37). The recording is being done via the Analog Heat as a USB audio interface.
In this YouTube video, you can see Dataline playing exclusively with the new Syntakt from Elektron.
Personally, I find the Push 3 very exciting and it helps me a lot in the studio! Connecting any gear I want straight into it via ADAT, modular or not, sequence away, record the inputs and BAM - it’s on your computer running Ableton Live, ready to be produced.
I would dare and say it almost replaces a black box I have been using for over 10 years… But - more on that soon, stay tuned and enjoy the vid!"
Dataline was known for using mainly Elektron gear but his testimony on Elektronauts (and other online media) indicate the Push 3 might replace his Elektron Octatrack.
