Best digital emulation of TR-909
It's the drum machine I can never have, but I do! this is weird right?
Yes, I'm happy to have this drum machine, it's not an original TR-909 but it does everything exactly like the original.
The sound is actually very good, just as good as the novation drumstation II, but this one is much cleaner, I don't need to equalize any of it.
This machine, if the volumes are well controlled, can give better mixing results than the original 909. (the original accumulates background noise through the analog channels)
The sequencer is identical, there is nothing different, it has some extras, but everything that the original 909 has is maintained.
This machine is small, but its knobs are really firm, they don't wobble, I bought this box in 2017 and I use it every day, there is no problem with the buttons or the knobs.
It is a 24 bit / 48000 hz sound card and midi interface, it also has an audio bridge on the audio input to use another machine on the same channel as the TR-09.
It's a MIDI controller! With this machine the buttons on its control panel become a controller for any other machine, for example I usually use this as a Waldorf blofeld controller.
Really cool, it's not made anymore, but there's still the TR-08 that's still the same thing to emulate TR 808.
It uses a usb cable for power, it can be used with a cell phone adapter, it is low consumption and it is also powered from a computer.
It has 10 individual channels through the USB cable that allows audio to be output, ideal for use in ableton live or logic pro.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
The sequencer, the sounds in general, the compressor and the song mode, analogue trigger, total acent, flam function. factory rhythms with great to start.
