Eddie Nappi's Gear
Since Handsome, Eddie has been using a pre-EB Music Man Stingray. Eddie has owned 2 of these basses. One in a natural finish and the other in sunburst, both being used in Handsome and probably in ENEMY too.
At around 10:57 you can barely make out an Ampeg SVT-II in Eddie's bass rig.
Eddie Nappi used a Pro Co RAT distortion pedal during his time with the band ENEMY, as shown in the user-uploaded photo.
Here's a pic of Eddie Nappi during the recording for the music video "The Great Disruptors" for Sweethead. Seems like the original pickguard was swapped out in favor of a black one.
Better source and looking picture of Eddie’s custom-shop Schecter Traditional-P-Bass. Seems to be a standard P-Bass with swamp-ash figurings, black/ebony stained, with a rosewood fretboard. Acquired sometime in 2003-2004 during Enemy/Mark Lanegan Band touring in support of Bubblegum.
Eddie Nappi can be seen using a Schecter J-4 Bass during his time with the Mark Lanegan Band around 2003. Although it closely resembles a Fender, the details suggest it's a Schecter. This is evidenced by a user-uploaded photo.
Eddie's main amp during his time in Sweethead. It sat on an 8x10 Ampeg cabinet
Seen here during a performance in 2002, the SCF was used prior to this in 1997 during a live performance of the song "Swimming" by Handsome in Sweden.
While it's hard to notice it you can barely see the left side of the preamp and the glowing dial of the level output of the rack over behind Eddie, also he mentioned that he used Ashdown preamps in an interview regarding his gear in 2002.
Eddie Nappi uses a vintage Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer to boost his bass signal. This pedal was notably used in his work with Enemy and likely in Handsome as well. The usage is verified by a user-uploaded photo.
Eddie's main bass cabinet, it was used with Handsome all the way to Sweethead.
