Nate is notorious for using this underground, unpopular plugin, as he discusses at 1:00 in this video.
He has numerous claims to fame with the VST, such as birthing "The Octagon," a chain of eight OTTs that is feared in the bass music community. He and his fanbase have also had the plugin's visage immortalized in r/place, as well as in Twitch's emotes. Not only has he used it for sound design, but he has even used it as a mastering plugin as recently as Get Off the Internet.

Nate uses these as his headphones for production, tracking, and livestreaming, as well as to cue tracks while DJing. When discussing his production workflow, he's said that he's almost always working in them, and typically only uses other setups to cross-reference.
In this video, he can be seen both streaming and DJing with the phones.

In this video at 0:45, Nate describes how his first studio setup featured the controller on his desk, forcing him to reach over it to operate his DAW. "The only reason I had that there was to make it look cooler."
At 1:28, Eliminate describes how he used this controller to play some of his first shows. He mentions that it was his first DJ setup with effects, which he used liberally so the audience "would know that I was doing stuff... did you guys hear that? I'm altering the music in real time."
