Erik Brann

Erik used a sunburst Mosrite Ventures model onstage and in the studio during his initial tenure with Iron Butterfly (late 1967 thru early 1970). The guitar was purchased from the band's original guitarist Danny Weis. Erik can be seen holding this guitar in all pictures and videos from this time period.

According to a roadie who worked extensively with the band Erik played a black Les Paul Custom during the 74-77 era. The band were promoting their pair of mid-70s albums Scorching Beauty and Sun & Steel during this time.
