Fred played a Telecaster in Noah and the Whale. The guitar was stolen and shortly after returned. Fred was the only left handed player in the band.
Fred played a Vintage 1976 Les Paul Gold Top Deluxe in Noah and the Whale (chosen to not add an additional item but list specifics here).. The guitar was stolen and shortly after returned. Fred was the only left handed player in the band.
Fred Abbott, along with the rest of Noah and the Whale, used the Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner extensively. A photo on Flickr shows Frank with a TU-2 on his pedalboard, as mentioned in a Guardian article about the band's equipment.
Fred used a Boss Graphic EQ pedal on his board. The item is listed in the gear that was stolen and shortly after returned. Here is a picture of him using it in his touring rig.
