James Alex's Gear
"The first amp I ever bought was a Marshall, I've tried everything but I found MY sound in the JTM45. I think the JTM45 Bluesbreaker defines Beach Slangs sound, it's our not so secret weapon"
James Alex is pictured with a white Epiphone Dot Studio, identifiable by its simpler design features such as two knobs, non-gold hardware, and the absence of a Bigsby, as seen on the headstock. This image was featured in a tweet from speakimge.

What Epiphone are you bringing into the studio I swear by my Epiphone Dot. It’s become signature to the sound of Beach-Slang. I can’t replicate that sound. If I could, I’d have one of those big traveling cases where you’d flip it open and it would be filled with white Epiphone Dots.

The shape, dot inlay, pick guard, headstock script, and bridge all prove evidence of James using this model Gibson acoustic guitar.
