This picture was taken during the recording session of "The Storm of The Light's Bane" and was posted on the official biography page of Jon. The page admin has mentioned it in the comments that starting from the "The Storm of The Light's Bane" album he started using the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone. He used it both in the studio as well as live. In this interview, Dan Swano talks about Jon's Boss DS-2: "after that he took his Boss Turbo Distortion (DS2) pedal and connected it between the guitar and the “distorted to the max” Marshall amp and there it was “The Dissection sound” – a lovely blend of transistor and valve distortion!!".

According to this FB post, Set Teitan affirmed that both Jon and him used the same pedals, including the Boss DigiDelay

Set Teitan confirmed in a Facebook post by "Far Beyond All Light - Jon Nödtveidt Biography" that both he and Jon Nödtveidt used the same pedals, including the Korg DT-10 Digital Pedal Tuner.
