Gibson Les Paul Standard

Gibson Les Paul Standard

Solid Body Electric Guitars
Color/Finish: Blue Metallic Year: 1990s

Julián has used this guitar since 1993 in many concerts and television appearances. He probably used it to record an album. The first album recorded with that guitar might be "Made in Japan," although I doubt it because I don't think they brought any equipment to Memphis. In Siniestro Total concerts since 1993, he alternates it with his other two Gibson Les Pauls and the Telecaster. He used it in Siniestro Total's last concert.

Julián first used this guitar on the TV show Schhh, recorded on April 24, 1996, and from then on, he alternated it in his live performances with the White Les Paul and the Blue Les Paul. It has "Malafama Noise Pub" written on it, which was a bar in Mallorca. He used it in the show "Cultura Popular" in 1996, in his performance at the Radio 3 concerts in 2005, in the music video "Las piernas de cristo" (2005), on the live album "Que parezca un accidente", recorded in 2006, and more...

The first appearance of that guitar is in the 1986 music video for "Dios salve al conselleiro"; Soto plays it, but it belongs to Julián. He probably bought it when he started making money with the band, back in the 80s. But he didn't use it until the 90s, when he was already playing guitar in ST. The guitar can be seen in the recording of "A poco más (de metro escaso)" from Sesión Vermú on AreaMaster.
