In this archived version of a December 2000 article from Sound On Sound, Underworld bandmate Hyde explains his then-current live rig. "I use the Pioneer CDJ502 compact disc player for text input and occasional sound effects, and I can retrigger CDs, or loop them." Although Hyde states the model number as CDJ502, I believe this to have been a transcription error (there is no 502) and that what was really meant by this was CDJ500II.
