1997 Gibson Les Paul Classic is Cox's main guitar. Cox writes:

I've been playing guitar for 9 years now, and all this time I've been dreaming of a Gibson Les Paul... My dream finally came true a couple of days ago !!! Let me introduce you to my new guitar : a 1997 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus Honey Burst (with Lollar Pickups of course :) ) I'm totally crazy about it! It looks and sounds amazing, I'm sooo happy and so proud to own a guitar like this one :)"

The guitar was mentioned in 2019 Guitar World interview, where it was used for the recording of the 2019 album "Burning Bright".

This guitar is Laura Cox's signature. In Bacchus description of the guitar, she writes:

My Signature DUKE-STANDARD is THE guitar I’ve been looking for since the beginning. I love that look with the feel of the satin finish. It’s really comfortable, and it suits me perfectly. It felt like it was mine from the start. I’ve never seen this level of perfection on any other guitar; even on guitars that cost 3 or 4 times its price. The Japanese did an incredible job!"

Gibson just gave you an LP Junior. “Yeah, and I am really happy with it. I had never tried Les Paul Juniors before, and they handed that one to me when we were at the Gibson showroom in Paris. It felt really good. I love Telecasters and I had the feeling that this one was kind of a mix between a Les Paul and a Telecaster. It is simpler than a Les Paul. You only have one pickup, two knobs, and it’s light, with a big chunky neck. You are not afraid to beat it. I absolutely love this guitar.”

I mostly use the same gear as I do onstage; my Bacchus Duke, my Gibson Les Paul Classic. I used a Firebird Standard for two or three songs, a Fender [American Vintage] ’52 Telecaster for two songs, the southern-sounding songs.

After that Squier I bought a Fender Classic Player ‘60s Stratocaster. I think I bought it because of Mark Knopfler, but then I got into Slash and wanted a Les Paul. It was my first real guitar but I can’t say it was good because I made the mistake of buying on the internet.

So I went out and my mother bought me a Squier Showmaster. I think it had three pickups, two single-coils and a humbucker - or two humbuckers and a single-coil in the middle? It wasn’t a good guitar, with a small Fender amp, but I learned with that guitar.

We can clearly see Laura Cox with a Les Paul traditional Heritage Cherry Sunburst, and she precise the guitar is a 2015 model.
