Description
Experience the power, fluidity, and versatility that the legendary Jimi Hendrix harnessed with the Fender Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster. This exceptional instrument authentically mirrors Hendrix's iconic flipped Strats, combining classic style with modern playability. It captures the spirit of Hendrix’s sound while infusing fresh, contemporary characteristics.
The foundation of Hendrix's unique sound was his habit of flipping his Strats to accommodate his left-handed playing. This created a reverse headstock and bridge pickup, which Fender has faithfully reproduced. The reverse headstock provides a tighter feel for bass strings and easier bending of treble strings, while the reverse-slant bridge pickup produces a tight, warm tone with enhanced upper harmonics—emulating Hendrix's signature Strat sound.
The fast-playing 9.5" radius maple neck with medium jumbo frets offers comfort for both chording and soloing, and the Pure Vintage '65 single-coil pickups deliver vintage-inspired tone with clarity and punch. The large '70s-style headstock bears Hendrix's signature, and a unique neck plate displays Hendrix's silhouette and "Authentic Hendrix" inscription.
