"I've got a few vocal mics. I use an SM7B, which is amazing.... The SM7B is great because you just turn it up to the max and it can deal with different volumes of singing. So when I'm recording myself, it's just a lot easier if I can just get something set up and leave it there, and then I can spend however long I want on the actual performances. So it's just about capturing things in a really clean way." - at 20:07 and 21:19 in the Headliner Radio podcast episode 118, about the making of Laura's album Exotic Monster under the name Penfriend.
