In her Guitar Girl Mag interview she says; "I play a Mexican Jazz Master reissue that I’ve played for three years now. I would really like to try a Nachocaster.".

You can tell its not an American Performer or Professional by the headstock, and neck binding.

She plays this guitar during this Vevo performance. It can also be seen in an instagram photo coming from a soundcheck before Cunningham's perfromance at Visulite Theatre (Charlotte, NC) on 23 April 2020. The guitar was also mentioned in the December 2022 Guitar World interview as a part of her rig.

Madison Cunningham uses a 1960s-era Silvertone 605 guitar, which is modified with a rubber bridge, flatwound strings, and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails style pickup over the soundhole. According to an article on Acoustic Guitar titled; "How Madison Cunningham Uses Unusual Tunings and Beater Guitars to Discover Fresh Sounds," this guitar was used in the recording of "Life According to Raechel" and can be seen during her NPR Tiny Desk performance of the song.
