Margaret Glaspy's Gear
"I also use one pedal. It’s just a boost pedal—a TC Electronic Spark pedal—and that’s just raising the volume. That’s the only pedal I really use."
"On tour, I’ve been playing a lot through a Champ. I’ve graduated up to bigger amps as of late—similar to the Vibrolux vibe. The live show is pretty representative; it’s similar guitar sounds to those on the record."
"It’s pretty representative. Essentially, the guitar sounds are mainly through a Vibrolux and then reamped through a Champ. Not all of the things are reamped, but a lot of them are."
Glaspy has been seen in most of her recent videos and photoshoots with this Danocaster Tele replica guitar. This image with the headstock zoomed in clearly shows the Danocaster brand along with "vintage replicas".
Glaspy recently got featured on Premier Guitars "Rig Rundown" where she showed off her minimalistic pedal board which features a TU-2 tuner.
In nearly every photo and video of Glaspy, you can see her American Special Telecaster in Vintage Blonde with a rosewood fretboard. A couple ways of noticing this, like in this video, is the vintage blonde and rosewood fingerboard combination, vintage style 3 saddle Telecaster bridge, and the non contoured body.
"Sometimes, depending on if the amp I’m using has reverb on it, I’ll use a Holy Grail—a tiny bit. It’s probably at 1. I don’t really like reverb that much on the guitar."
In the "gear" section, the pedal is mentioned as nano reverb, not the usual version.
In this performance of "Anthony", Glaspy can be seen playing the Harmony Jupiter Stratotone.
About that guitar she said on Instagram: "Love my Waterloo :) Thank you @collingsguitars! Love writing songs on this guitar." (https://www.instagram.com/p/6iGakGDaGo/)
According to her "Rig Rundown" with Premier Guitar Glaspy now (2017) uses this amp on tour.
Margaret uses the WA-47 in her performance on CBS Saturday Sessions.
In Premier Guitars "Rig Rundown" to Kysers can be seen on her amp.
