Ollie's guitar of choice was this 1967 Gibson SG Custom.

The guitar was originally right handed, but was modified to be left handed. These modifications include:

A replaced nut.

A block placed to cover the original control cavity.

A new control cavity on the opposite side of the instrument.

A modified pickguard.

The top horn was also carved down.

He'd use it for songs that the slight worble that he could achieve with the maestro vibrato on his "blue traff" SG didn't benefit.
