In a Rolling Stone article titled Paul Banks: My Style, Paul Banks talks about some of his gear. He shows his Critter & Guitari Kaleidoloop, and says:

In an interview about how Paul Banks writes and records music for his solo material, he mentions using an Apogee ONE USB guitar interface to get his guitar riffs into Logic Pro.

"If I write a guitar line, then I also have an Apogee One, so I can input my guitar into my laptop through that interface. It also has a really good microphone. So I just have a bass guitar and a regular guitar in my hotel room every day, and I would just get Logic-ed up instead of getting liquored up."

In this quote from Peter Katis, the producer of TOTBL and Antics, he says “The band have used Fender amps from the beginning, augmenting their sound on their debut with a handful of pedals and preferring pedals to amp reverb, with the humble Alesis MicroVerb featuring heavily on TOTBL: “Cheaper reverbs have a sound that is darker and messier and cooler…” said Katis. “Without that little $50 piece of gear, the record would’ve sounded totally different.”
