Paul D'Amour is confirmed to use the Mesa/Boogie High Gain Amplifier Switch, as evidenced by an image showing his equipment setup from the period around 1993-1994. The image also shows that he used this switch alongside two Mesa Bass 400+ amplifiers.
During a live performance by Tool at The Warfield Theatre in San Francisco on November 11th, 1994, Paul D'Amour's use of the Eventide H3000-D/SX UltraHarmonizer is confirmed. The unit is visible in his rack-mount setup when illuminated by stage lights, and its distinctive sound is audible during the song "Pushit," particularly through a fractal/reverse delay effect.
In a live performance by Tool at The Warfield Theatre in San Francisco on November 11, 1994, bassist Paul D'Amour is observed using the Voodoo Lab GCX Guitar Audio Switcher to activate various pedals and rack effects in his setup.
