Great for a low price
I got this bass after three years playing my Squier P Bass and it makes a HUGE difference. It's a little bit too heavy, but it sounds rock solid and has tons of tonal options (it's an active bass, you can't expect less). The only "issue" I had is that the neck is maybe too thick, but its so smooth you won't even care.
The three-way pickup selector is what I dig most about this bass. I've been able to play from metal to slow rock ballads without even considering changing the bass, just turning the switch.

My main bass.
This was my second bass (after a Squier Bronco bass) and I got it really cheap. I ran home, case in hand, and plugged it into the first amp I could find (a Fender Rumble 15). Straight away, I got a taste of one of the best tones I've ever heard. Not so good for fans of Jazz-Bass style basses due to the humbucker, but I love it and would recommend to almost anyone.

Former member of TOOL and bassist for "Lesser Key", Paul D'Amour, is seen here during alive performance for Lesser Key playing an Ibanez ATK300. His bass is an NT finish.
Used this bass live in the 90s & early 2000s, and recorded Ixnay and possibly Conspiracy of One with an ATK.
