Reggie Young Jr's Effects Pedals

Today I use a simple pedalboard that Dave Wilkerson from Techstar built for me. It is loaded with an Ernie Ball volume pedal, a Cry Baby 5350 wah, Boss DD-3 Digital Delay, MXR DynaComp, Boss GE-7 Equalizer, Boss Chromatic Tuner, Voodoo Lab Tremolo and Sparkle Drive, and last but not least, the good, old T.C. Electronic Stereo Chorus.

He shows his pedalboard on the video.

My favorite stompbox is the Boss GE-7 equalizer – that little box is fantastic and I can get any sound I want out of it.

Did you use any pedals when you were recording the record?

I used this board here. [A Mark Kendrick overdrive—given to Young by Merle Haggard—Whirlwind compressor, Boss EQ, Boss TU-2 tuner, Boss DD-6 Digital Delay, Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive, TC Electronic Chorus, and Voodoo Lab Tremolo].
