Richard McNevin-Duff's Gear
Richard uses a red and black Les Paul Custom built in the 1980's. It was originally a hire guitar for a show at The Troubadour in LA during a Space Monkeys tour in 1997. After the guitar strap failed numerous times, he launched the guitar at his guitar tech. The tech ducked out of the way of the flying guitar and it took a serious fall, breaking the neck. The hire company then sold the broken guitar to Richard who, after having the guitar repaired, has played this as his main guitar since. Over the years, the guitar has been damaged due to flood and repaired multiple times.
