Richie Hawtin's Software Plugins and VSTs
The Lexicon PSP 42 is a great effects plugin, with which it is possible to create the well-known Richie Hawtin Delay, as Richie uses this himself.
Richie Hawtin and Liine co-developed this Max for Live device for the 2010 revival of Plastikman. It saves the state of one's Live Set so it can be instantly recalled later.
In this video from Richie's YouTube channel, Richie uses Traktor to play four audio tracks simultaneously while DJing. The colors and layout for the software are distinct to Traktor 2.
I have Eventide’s Anthology bundle and I was such a fan of Eventide that when they announced Pro Tools support I was freaking out!” says Hawtin. “The Clockworks in the Anthology is really amazing. And the Band Delays are also really amazing.
Hawtin consistently uses Eventide and Sound Toys, and he used its predecessor — UltraToys — before that.
In a YouTube video by Native Instruments titled "Richie Hawtin with TRAKTOR DJ," Richie Hawtin demonstrates the Native Instruments TRAKTOR DJ iOS App, humorously noting that "you can play four of your favorite songs at once, and it'll be like playing one of your least favorite songs."
