Okay James, my favorite vintage effect that I own is definitely, this is very is easy. This is my original 1978 MXR Flanger that I bought in 1978. That’s the first effect pedal that I bought. It works great, it’s a little bit noisy. I’m from Rochester, MXR was from Rochester back then and this thing can not only do the jet sound like on “Panama”, but I can make it sound like a Leslie, I can make it sound like so many different things and any time that I was in a pinch in any of my bands or any recordings I did to get some different kind of sound, all you gotta do is just mess around with this and you’ll come up with it.
