Very good fuzztone!!
The Dunlop FuzzFace Sillicon Mini , is a very good sounding pedal with some nice features like : It has a standart pedal size and is just called mini because the original fuzzface model is even bigger and has the same circuits, another fact is that the mini version comes with a led on it and a true bypass switch. So , if you´re looking for an original vintage fuzzface tone in a small box that cost and weight less and already has a led on it, that´s the right pedal for you and the best , it comes with the normal in and out plugs position. Check out some reviews and you´re going to believe me.

try backing off your guitar volume 1 notch with the gain up a little more... also, try running into a marshall superlead or something similar with the amp set so the power tubes are breaking up just a bit when the pedal is disengaged... the silicon FF will cut a mix better than a germanium but its finicky.

hmm. never tried that, but don't really own any marshall type amps, only sf fenders - i tend to drive those very hard and loud and usually prefer muff-type circuits through them (i.e. DBA fuzz war)

It’s mid scooped, so stack it with a mid forward pedal to cut through, Klon, Tubescreamer ect.

I asked Cory about pedals on Instagram and this is what he said about dirt pedals on Ganglion Reef and Plum:
"There's no fuzzes on Plum! Not a single one. I used a box of rock for most of it... and a Ross compressor always on. On ganglion Reef I used one of those little silicon fuzz face minis. They rule! Need to pick one up again. I love them"
In the Premier Guitar "Rig Rundown" video for Radio Moscow, Parker Griggs is shown using the Dunlop FFM1 Silicon Fuzz Face Mini pedal.
''I used a horrible big blue generic fuzz pedal for everything.''
I don't know if the Mini Fuzz Face was out at the time, but that's my guess at interpreting the ''big blue generic fuzz pedal'' sentence. I hope someone who knows Fuzz Faces history can confirm or deny this. It's nothing sure though, just a guess: the info is very limited.
