Ryan Waste's Gear
I'm using a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier, and I add a heavy metal pedal to that and blend the two distortions together. I'm running that through two Marshalls, like an old '60s cab and a more modern one, which is my live setup. We wanted to keep the sound basically like what we sound like live -- no real studio tricks or anything added.
Emailed Ryan this morning. Told him that I wanted to know his rig for Art of Partying, and whether or not Zeus did any re-amping. As for the question of what that pedal is that he always has on his amp, no matter what he's playing through. Ryan has been a Metal Zone addict for as long as I've known him.
"Guitar-wise I'm using my custom MW [Municipal Waste] guitar. I'm a left-hander so I never really got to have a cool guitar, like a real metal guitar, so I had one made. It's definitely "heirloom quality," which is what the luthier who made it likes to say. It's my baby." He uses multiple colors of these live as well as in the studio

At 0:26 he has a strat that I have no idea what it is. Maybe it's one he made himself judging by the headstock.
"Fernandes Guitars proudly announces the induction of Ryan Waste of Virginia crossover thrashers MUNICIPAL WASTE to our family of worldwide artists! Ryan recently picked up a custom left handed V-Hawk guitar based on his specs, including a Kahler tremolo, large diamond shape inlays, killswitch and a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker, which will be featured in upcoming official videos and tour dates.
For fans of metal, punk, and hardcore, MUNICIPAL WASTE’s The Fatal Feast is already being hailed as “an interstellar thrashterpiece” by Decibel magazine." Fernandes guitars official blog post regarding Ryan Waste
His guitar is a custom shop variant in gunmetal with neon green bevels. It is left handed and features a Seymour Duncan JB trembucker, a Kahler Hybrid tremolo, and a killpot. Waste has been seen playing this in many live events and has since replaced the classic MW Guitar as his primary gigging guitar.
I'm 95 percent sure that this is what he is using in the video the best view is at 0:26

Ryan Waste consistently uses the Guild B-301 Electric Bass during performances with his band "BAT," as evidenced in multiple music videos and live performances. Specifically, the bass is prominently featured in the music videos for "Beware of the BAT" and "Revenge of the Wolf," where it is clearly visible throughout. Additionally, numerous live performance videos further confirm his use of this instrument. An image supporting this has been attached.
