Simon Katz

Simon used a Special Telecaster made in Mexico between the 90s and 2000s with Jamiroquai and Gorillaz. You can see it perfectly in Jamiroquai's live shows in '96 and in Gorillaz's documentary Bananaz.

Katz can be seen with an SG Junior at 29:41 in the Bananaz documentary for Gorillaz.

According to page 5 of "Marshall Law: The Marshall Magazine for Musicians And Marshall Players" Issue #5, April 2000, with regards to touring with Jamiroquai, "Guitarist Simon Katz used a Marshall rack set-up for their last world tour, featuring two JMP-1s into two EL34 100/100 power amps. His cabinets were 2x12 model 1936, finished in black 'Levant' covering with 'salt 'n' pepper' fret cloth and loaded with Marshall/Celestion Vintage 30 speakers."
