Tim Easton's Gear
In order to celebrate THIRTY YEARS of playing, writing, and traveling with “Paco,” my beloved 1985 black Gibson J-45 acoustic, I went into a DIRECT TO LACQUER studio in Bristol, Virginia a few weeks back and recorded an entire album using much the same technology as The Carter Family or Jimmie Rodgers would have used 90 years ago when they made their first recordings.
This guitar is especially build for Tim Easton by "Homestead Guitars". It has a AAA Adirondack spruce top. Javanese palisander back and sides. Mohagany neck out of one piece. Raven MOP inlay
In a performance captured on YouTube by Freddy Celis, Tim Easton is seen using a Shubb Capo during his concert at Blues Peer on July 21, 2019.
