The DAW is Steinberg Cubase Pro, and the audio interface was replaced last year with Apogee Symphony I / O Mk II. I originally loved Apogee's A / D converter, and until then I used the AD-16 connected to the RME's audio interface, but after the Symphony I / O Mk II came out, its dense low frequencies And the resolution was very good with my mix, so I replaced them. For the monitor controller, I used Grace Design m920 with S / PDIF connection before, but when I tried the Symphony I / O Mk II D / A converter when the fuse of m920 was blown, it was low. The sound of the center of gravity was surprisingly pleasant, so I'm just putting it out right now. The speaker was replaced by Focal's Solo6 Be last year.<

Originally I really liked the sound of Neumann U67, and there were times when I thought it would be better to have it, but isn't it difficult to maintain? The condition of the studio U67 is also different. But I also have a throat condition, so I want to record songs in my studio. So, after trying various U67 replicas, Peluso was the one that matched the voice best. Sometimes I use Neumann U87Ai to record strong mids, but recently I rent U67 or record with Peluso.

At the beginning of "Katharsis", TK used both Omnisphere and Keyscape. Keyscape includes a small patch library for Omnisphere called "Keyscape Creative". You can only access it when you have Omnisphere installed as well, which is where the library can be accessed, but not in Keyscape.

Since my friend had both plugins, we were able to access this library. In it, was a patch called, "Autumn Walk", the first thing that came in mind when I played it was, "Tokyo Ghoul", since this song was used for the intro for the 2nd season.

In this small video, I compare the beginning of the song and the patch which convinces that TK uses the Omnisphere and Keyscape plugins.

When the black Mac Pro was introduced, I switched from the UAD-2 Quad PCIe card to the UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO . One of my favorite plug-ins is the 1176 Classic Limiter, which I always use for snares . I often use A of the blue line, but since the timing of the distortion is different, I use it like a lottery (laugh). Other than the 1176 Classic Limiter, I also like the Brainworx bx_refinement and the Studer A800 Multichannel Tape Recorder . Brainworx bx_refinement is a sound that doesn't hate, and the Studer A800 Multichannel Tape Recorder should have a good ear familiarity. The sound is glossy, but it doesn't hurt your ears.
