At a live performance in Paris, as reported by Slowend, Tos utilized the Moog Rogue synthesizer. The Moog Taurus is a well known Bass Synthesizer used by bands such as Rush, Pink Floyd, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc. The Moog Taurus II has been used by SUNN O))) many times in their live and studio performances before and is absolutely incredible. Tos Niewenhuizen uses the Moog Taurus along with Stephen O'Malley.Both the Taurus I and II units have a "low note priority" keying circuit. The amazing thing about the Taurus II that benefits SUNN O))) is that in the event that the player depresses two notes, the instruments will only sound the lowest pitched note, similar to other monophonic synthesizers.
