Filthy sounds under your feet!
Worst sell of my life.... Sold my Taurus to pay the rent.... This thing is FUN. Imagine, having these organ foot pedals to play a Moog WHILE you play a guitar.... Yeah, you read that. In a live situation that is just a better use of your limbs :) Snah from Motorpsycho also understood this trick and I was very happy seeing him on stage with it. Simple Moog, Grand sound. 4 stars because it's a part of romance now. These days, I would buy the Moog Mother 32 or something, cheaper and more versatile. Only the pedals... I need to find midi organ pedals ;)

In the concert film "Genesis - When In Rome - Come Rain Or Shine HD," there is a clear visual at the timestamp 59:14 showing Mike Rutherford utilizing the pedal half of the Moog Taurus II as a MIDI controller for a Moog Source, as documented by the source provider, Jurand J. The Moog Taurus is a well known Bass Synthesizer used by bands such as Rush, Pink Floyd, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc. The Moog Taurus II has been used by SUNN O))) many times in their live and studio performances before and is absolutely incredible. Tos Niewenhuizen uses the Moog Taurus along with Stephen O'Malley. Both the Taurus I and II units have a "low note priority" keying circuit. The amazing thing about the Taurus II that benefits SUNN O))) is that in the event that the player depresses two notes, the instruments will only sound the lowest pitched note, similar to other monophonic synthesizers. The Taurus I oscillators produced only sawtooth waves; the Taurus II oscillators produced sawtooth, square and preconfigured pulse waves. Meaning that this synth is meant to answer the question: "How low can you go?".
Hans Magnus “Snah” Ryan has been seen using the Moog Taurus II in his pedalboard rig, as documented by effettidiclara.
